Under the direct supervision of Senior Operations Coordinator and the overall guidance
of Head of Sub-Office, the incumbent will perform the following duties:
1. Meet authorized personnel at designated field locations, travels with them
and serves as an interpreter in the exchange of routine information, contributes
to related liaison activities with the Community Services Partners, Camps
based authorities and NGOs community working in the field.
2.Collects data and other information related to Community Services activities
on field.
3.Follow up, on a regular basis, the overall situation of Person with Specific
needs in camps other areas where IDPs have been accommodated.
4.In co-ordination with the community services partners, monitors the
implementation of UNHCR assistance in IDP (Internally Displaced Person)
settlements and assist local implementing partners in matters pertaining to the
well-being of IDPs.
5.Conducts basic interviews with internally displaces persons.
6.Attends to all IDPs queries and refer the note for file to the attention of the
Community Services Officer for further action. Maintains all protected-related
statistical records and files;
7. Performs other duties as required
