Minimum Education:  Matriculation
Degree Title:  Completion of secondary education, preferably supplemented by technical or university courses in a field related to the work of the organisation.
Career Level:  GS-5
Minimum Experience:  5 Years(Five years job related experience. Knowledge of UNICEF financial management and supply/procurement procedure is desirable.)

  Job Description

1. Support Health Specialists in preparing necessary project documents, correspondence and ensure its correctness. May be required to carry out specific control tasks for project implementation.

2. Arranges appointments, receives visitors, places and screens telephone calls, answers queries with discretion, responds to routine requests for information and assists in making travel arrangements.

3. Maintains and keeps current registers and control plans on the status of projects at the formulation, implementation and operational stages at Federal level and where relevant for Provincial level.

4. Maintains office records and reference files on various subjects. Carries out data entry and retrieves information.

5. Makes monitoring trip as and when required to follow-up project progress.

6. Receives and screens correspondence and attaches relevant background information and alerting the supervisors on the pending deadlines.

7. Draft CRQs, PRQs, PGMs in ProMs.

8 . Processes and examine the information and data in accordance with instructions received, making necessary abstracts and computations.

9. Provide back up support to the MCHC Section as Sr. Programme Assistant (SPA) in case of heavy workload or absence of the SPA.

10. Assist arrangements of meetings/workshops etc. organised by UNCEF

11. Takes notes at meetings and prepares & circulates minutes after approval.

  Required Skills
LANGUAGES (Indicate the languages required and desirable.)

Fluency in written and spoken English. Knowledge of local languages will be an asset.

OTHER SKILLS AND ATTRIBUTES (Indicate what other skills and attributes required, such as computer knowledge, management or communication skills, negotiating or training ability, etc.)

-Computer software skills for Word Processing, Spreadsheet etc.
-Ability to function as a team member.
